ECRP is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals. The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics has articulated goals that are fairly broad in focus from teaching students to value mathematics to teaching them to reason mathematically; nonetheless, students need focused instruction to learn mathematics. In Geometry when teaching the concept of symmetry, textbooks and teachers often use examples in nature (including the human body) and two-dimensional pictures. The challenge presented to the teacher is that when such questions are asked, a wide range of answers is possible.
